Anna (the one on the right) is the owner of Wenlock Books, founder of the Wenlock Poetry Festival and was one of the judges for the 2014 Costa Poetry Awards. She has been a bookseller for 30 years and is a passionate advocate of independent bookshops everywhere.
Susie and Albert
When Susie's not in the bookshop, you'll find her writing about history or tinkering in her shed. Albert, one of her creations, is our reader-in-residence and spends his days swinging gently away with his nose in a book. Lucky Albert.
Imogen is the sportiest member of our team and spends most of her free time playing netball or badminton. You'll find her at Wenlock Books on most Saturdays.
Claire (above left, with author Katherine Swift) is a marine biologist. When she first moved to land-locked Shropshire, she put her years of training to good use by selling fish. She's now in charge of all our secondhand book buying.
Ellie is studying History at Cardiff University but still writes books reviews for us and works everytime she's home!
Sam and Katie
Siblings Sam and Katie have both worked in the bookshop since their teens although less frequently now that Sam has a degree in prost-grad chemistry from York and Katie is studying at the University of Northampton. They still pop back when they can!
Wenlock Books is an award-winning independent bookshop in Much Wenlock, Shropshire.
