Jonathan Coe - The rain before it Falls. Thursday February 7th 2008 at 7:30pm.
An Audience with Jonathan Coe.

Jonathan is coming to talk about his latest book The Rain before it Falls. We're delighted to be sharing this event with the Edge Arts Centre, which will make a super venue for the evening with Jonathan. It is particularly fitting that Jonathan should come to Wenlock to talk about his book, as it is set both in and around Much Wenlock. Also, one of the central characters is an 'extra' in the making of the film Gone to Earth, based on Mary Webb's classic book, which was actually filmed here. So, lots of local interest, and a great opportunity to meet and talk with this highly acclaimed author. Tickets available from the bookshop, or the Edge. £7.50 / £5
More archived events will be added to this page and from April 2008, each month's 'Events' page will be archived. Look out for the links on the 'Events' page >>
